If you work in an office or even around other people you will see what I see. People you appear to be clean individuals not washing their hands. They touch dirty things, then go ahead and touch your property or go and make your food. You observe people making your food with gloves, then touching money or dirty things while keeping their gloves on, then going back to making food. The worst is people that go to the washroom and don’t even wash their hands with soap. Even the ones that just use water, it is not good enough. You’re the reason there are so many germs spreading around.

There is a serious lack of hygiene in this world and I’m fed up with it.

If you are one of those non-hand washers out there. WASH YOUR HANDS. Are you honestly that lazy? How hard is it go use soap and wash your hands to keep your germs to yourself? The rest of us are fed up with it. Get some personal hygiene skills and wash your hands.

That’s the end of my rant after watching people make food and touching dirty things before touching the food I was about to eat.

It is almost like SARS all over again. The only thing we can hope for this time is that it is managed and everyone has learned from the SARS mistakes.

There have been 20 confirmed cases of Swine Flu in the United States and 6 confirmed cases of Swine Flu in Canada (Nova Scotia and British Columbia) and the cases are expected to rise as it spreads to more and more people.

It is times like this that you can see how quickly something could spread and could potentially wipe out the population really quickly. Not that Swine Flu has the ability to do that, but it just makes you realize how quickly things can spiral out of control.

I feel bad for people in Mexico, especially Mexico City. It must be rough on them having most of the city shut down and being worried about going outside of your house. I will keep an eye on this story just as anyone else and hope we can get it contained before it becomes a major problem.

I think Mexico will have to do some major PR work to get people to come back after this is all over. Canada went through it after SARS, we had to spend loads of money just to keep people coming up here and not being afraid in the wake of SARS.
